If you’ve seen me on Twitter lately (or at all, tbh), you’ve probably noticed that calling me a huge Christmas fan would be an understatement. A big one. I LOVE Christmas and wait for it all year around. So the question – Blogmas yes or no? – should be an easy one to answer, right? Well, normally it is – YES! I love everything Christmas related, so obviously Blogmas is no exception. One of my favorite things to do during the build up to Christmas is watching Vlogmas videos on YouTube, and following other people who like this festive season to a similar extent than me is something that makes the dark December days so much brighter for me.
And I want to participate too! However, since I never had a blog before during Christmas time, I wonder – what is allowed? How can I do it, and is the way I want to do it right? And most important of all – as much as I would love to commit to posting every single day, I simply don’t think I will have enough time to do it, So would a Christmas related post every couple of days still be counted as Blogmas?
Here’s what I think I’ll do. Since I love everything Christmas related – from books to music to decorations, from crafts and films to giving gifts to others, but I have a book (and artsy, crafty) blog, I’ve thought a lot about whether I could include all these ideas on my blog, and if so, where. Well, I believe everyone should write what they feel passionate about, and I most definitely feel passionate about the Christmas season, that much you can believe me 😀 So I think I’m just going to post about all of these things – and whenever I have the time.
You know what’s strange? Normally, I’m the most organized person in the world, and love scheduling everything well ahead of time. However, I don’t seem to be able to do it when it comes to my blog… So I can’t promise you anything – just that in the weeks to come, my blog will be dedicated to all the joys of the Christmas season. Here’s what you can expect:
- Christmas films (discussions, rankings, favorites etc.)
- Festive book reviews
- Favorites (classics, children’s books, romances etc.)
- Christmassy crafts
- Christmas decorations
- Gift giving ideas
- Wrapping ideas
And hopefully so much more!
I hope you are just as excited as I am about the build-up to Christmas and enjoy everything festive just as much as I do!
The fact that I haven’t got everything all scheduled already has a good side too: Do you have any preferences? What posts would you like to see first? And also, do you think my thoughts on how I could still do Blogmas are ok? Tell me in the comments below please 🙂
I wish you all a wonderful Christmas time!
Lots of love,
