Liebster Award!

Yay, ANOTHER award I was nominated for, I honestly cannot believe it!!! I feel so honored – thank you SO much to Pauliina @ The Bookaholic Dreamer for nominating me! I’m so excited to see the questions I’m going to answer!

But first, here are the RULES:

  • Thank the blogger who nominated you, provide a link to their blog and display the award.
  • Answer 11 questions they asked you.
  • Come up with your own 11 questions
  • Tag 11 bloggers and don’t forget to tell them.

Ok, so here are Pauliina’s questions for me:

1 The kind of pizza you order?

Easy. I’m not one who tries out new stuff much when it comes to food, I like what I like… I order a pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, Edam and Emmental cheese and cherry tomatoes on top. So basically cheese and tomatoes 😀

2 What was the last book you finished?

Um, I think that would be In Fallen Woods by R.N. Merle. Was a good read, but quite dark.

3 Would you rather be able to teleport anywhere or be able to read minds?

Oooh, this one’s hard!!! I would love both SO much! Teleporting anywhere would mean I could visit faraway places without having to go through the anxious hours of flying, but being able to read minds would satisfy my desire to know what others think of me… Well, I think teleporting would come in more handy for me, and even though I would LOVE to be able to read people’s minds, what I would see there wouldn’t really change anything for me (other than upset me probably), so teleporting it is.

4 Which book has been in your TBR for the longest?

Again, a hard one! My TBR pile is slowly growing through my roof lol. I honestly don’t know which one’s been there the longest, but And I Darken by Kiersten White has been there for quite a while now and I really want to start it but something always comes in the way. Same thing with Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Those two aren’t even that old though, so I’m sure another book must be in there gathering dust for many years now…

5 How do you feel about big books? What’s the longest book you have ever read?

When they’re good – the bigger, the better! What could be nicer than having more time with your beloved fictional characters? When it’s not good, though, it’s haaard! And sometimes I even give up… So what’s the longest book I’ve ever read? I’m not sure. Maybe Breaking Dawn (720 pages)?

6 Weirdest food you like?

Weirdest..? Umm, what is weird food? Ok, wait, I got one. I love an omelet with strawberry jam on top. Lol. Try it out before you judge me 🙂

7 What’s that one thing you have been putting off for a really long time?

Washing the curtains in my bedroom. I’ve been wanting to do that for…well, a really long time now. Look at that adult-y answer right here!

8 Which book would you recommend to someone who doesn’t like to read?

Depends on the person and what I think they would like. Harry Potter, A Court of Thorns and Roses, The Rose Garden (by Susanna Kearsley), The Life List (by Lori Nelson Spielman)… there are so many I would love to recommend!

9 Are you a person who plans things carefully beforehand or more of a spontaneous type?

Ohh, I’m definitely far from spontaneous. As much as I would love to be totally adventurous and jump right into the day, I honestly can’t. I love my various daily, weekly, and monthly planners way too much for that! Try it out, guys – crossing something off your list feels great!

10 Do you have a favourite quote?

I’m such a lover of quotes, I always write them down from books I’m reading – I love collecting them so much! But to name only one favorite one… I really like “Throw kindness around like confetti” (Help, who said that??). I think that you really should – kindness doesn’t cost a thing, but it can truly make someone’s day, so why not throwing it around like confetti? If you want a more bookish answer, I love this following quote by Stephen King: “Books are a uniquely portable magic.” So true, right?!

11 If you had to stick to one book genre for the rest of your life which one would you pick?

Probably fantasy. I really love diving into another world and the chance of escape it gives you from the sometimes boring daily life.

Ok, now onto my eleven questions:

  1. What is your favorite time of year?
  2. If you didn’t have to worry about calories and health, which one food would you eat for the rest of your life?
  3. If you would write a book, which genre would it be?
  4. What’s your favorite time of day to read?
  5. What super power would you love to have?
  6. What is the last book you finished but didn’t like?
  7. What is the best book you’ve read so far in 2018?
  8. What is one book that surprised you (because you didn’t expect it to be so good)?
  9. Which celebrity would you most like to meet and why?
  10. What place would you love to visit next?
  11. What’s your most embarrassing childhood memory (only tell if you’re comfortable with sharing it)?

And that’s it! Now onto the lucky ones that are allowed to answer these questions lol. I nominate:

Holly @ The Writing Finch

Jamie @ Princess of Pages

Nuria @ Unwrapped Dreams

Cris @ The Biblio Blonde

Luana @ Book Storm Girl

Amy @ The Little Booknerds in the Corner

Kayleigh @ My Endless Shelf

Kimberly @ Troubled Bibliophile

Colleen Casey @ Colleen’s Conclusions

Adrianna @ For the Love of Books

Sadie @ Sadie B

Looking forward to read your responses guys! And thank you so much again to Pauliina for nominating me!

Xoxo

    1. Haha, no problem, looking forward to reading your answers! And yessss let’s order one right now! 🙂

  1. You did this in lighting speed (I took like 2 months to answer to my nomination), go you!! Teleporting seems like a good choice as long as you can control it properly, it would be awful to accidentally pop inside someone’s house or something lol. Haha strawberry jam omelet is definitely weird, but I guess I now have to try it to make sure it isn’t actually a hidden delicious gem that I have missed out on. I love the quotes and the book recommendations, I don’t think I have ever heard of the Life List or The Rose Garden, I’ll check those out! Your post was so much fun to read through, I loved all of your responses.

    1. Thank you SO much for tagging me, it was a lot of fun to answer them!:) Yeah definitely check the books out, they’re amazing!! And for the jam omelet – well, I’m looking forward to hearing your opinion! 😀

  2. Thanks for the tag! I still have the other one, haha. P.s. I had no idea curtains had to be washed???? Huh? I never heard of that. I wash my bedding frequently! And I dust my ceiling fan. I need to wash my quilt next time I go to my parents.

    1. Haha, there’s a lot to do then 😀 Well yeah one of my windows faces a quite busy street and the curtains gather fine dust and get dirty with time, so I need to wash them (sometime anyway xD) Looking forward to reading your answers 🙂
